Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about AI visibility, GEO, AEO, and how AMPD helps your business get cited by AI platforms.

AXO, GEO, AEO & AIO Strategy

1

What is AXO (AI Citation Optimisation)?

AXO is the practice of optimising your brand's digital presence so that AI platforms — such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity — cite, recommend, and reference your products or services in their responses. Unlike traditional SEO, AXO focuses on structured data, authoritative content, and trust signals that large language models prioritise when generating answers.

2

What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)?

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimisation. It is a strategy specifically designed to improve your visibility within AI-powered search and answer engines. While SEO targets traditional search engine result pages, GEO targets the generative outputs of platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, ensuring your brand appears in AI-generated answers and recommendations.

3

What is AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation)?

AEO — Answer Engine Optimisation — focuses on making your content the preferred source for AI platforms when they answer user questions. This involves structuring content in clear question-and-answer formats, using schema markup, and building topical authority so that AI models can easily extract and cite your information.

4

What is AIO (AI Optimisation)?

AIO is the broadest umbrella term for any strategy aimed at increasing your brand's visibility and influence across AI-powered platforms. It encompasses AXO, GEO, and AEO as well as emerging practices around voice assistants, AI shopping agents, and autonomous AI decision-makers. AMPD provides the measurement layer for every AIO strategy.

5

How does AMPD help with AI visibility?

AMPD sends real queries to the major AI platforms, analyses their responses, and scores how prominently your brand is mentioned, cited, or recommended. You get a single AI Visibility Score backed by platform-specific breakdowns, competitor benchmarks, and a prioritised action plan so you know exactly what to fix and what is working.

6

Which AI platforms does AMPD analyze?

AMPD currently queries seven major AI platforms: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Perplexity, Gemini (Google), Microsoft Copilot, Grok (xAI), and DeepSeek. Each platform weights different trust signals differently, and AMPD provides per-platform scores so you can tailor your strategy accordingly.

Pricing & ROI

7

How much does AMPD cost?

AMPD offers five tiers during our Year 1 validation pricing. The Free plan lets you explore estimated visibility insights at no cost. Pay-As-You-Go is £50 per analysis. Pro is £149 per month for growing brands. Agency is £499 per month for multi-brand management. Enterprise starts from £1,999 per month with custom solutions, dedicated account management, and API access.

8

What's the ROI of AI visibility optimization?

Brands that appear in AI-generated recommendations see measurable increases in organic discovery, referral traffic, and conversion rates. As consumer behaviour shifts toward asking AI for recommendations instead of searching Google, the brands that invest in AI visibility now are building a durable competitive moat. AMPD quantifies this opportunity with metrics like Citation Presence Score (CPS) and Sentiment Analysis Value (SAV).

9

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. The Free plan gives you ongoing access to estimated visibility insights for one brand with 7 days of data history. For paid plans, you can start with a single analysis on the PAYG tier (£50) before committing to a monthly subscription. We want you to see value before you commit.

10

Can I cancel anytime?

Absolutely. All AMPD subscriptions are month-to-month with no lock-in contracts. You can cancel from your account dashboard at any point and your access continues until the end of your current billing period. We believe in earning your business every month.

Technical

11

What metrics does AMPD track?

AMPD tracks three core metrics. Citation Presence Score (CPS) measures how often and how prominently AI platforms mention your brand. Citation Fidelity Index (CFI) evaluates the accuracy and context of those citations. Sentiment Analysis Value (SAV) assesses whether AI platforms describe your brand positively, neutrally, or negatively. Together these give you a complete picture of your AI reputation.

12

How does the Aggarwal Framework work?

The Aggarwal Framework is AMPD's proprietary scoring methodology. It combines six signal categories — domain authority, review signals, social presence, content quality, brand mentions, and technical SEO — and weights them based on how each AI platform processes information. The result is a normalised 0–100 visibility score calibrated for each platform individually.

13

What is E-E-A-T and why does it matter for AI?

E-E-A-T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. Originally a Google quality guideline, these signals are now critical for AI platforms too. Large language models favour sources that demonstrate real-world experience, deep subject expertise, recognised authority, and verifiable trust markers. AMPD audits your E-E-A-T signals and shows you where to improve.

14

How accurate are the AI visibility scores?

AMPD's verified scores are based on real queries sent to live AI platforms, so they reflect actual AI behaviour at the time of analysis. Because AI outputs are probabilistic, scores can vary between runs. AMPD mitigates this by averaging multiple queries and tracking trends over time. Estimated scores on the Free tier use predictive models and are directionally accurate but less precise than verified queries.

Getting Started

15

How do I get started with AMPD?

Sign up for a free account, add your brand name and domain, and run your first estimated visibility analysis in under two minutes. From there you can explore your per-platform scores, review your action plan, and upgrade to a paid tier whenever you want verified queries and deeper insights.

16

Do I need technical knowledge?

Not at all. AMPD is designed for marketers, brand managers, and business owners. The dashboard presents scores and recommendations in plain language with clear next steps. If you do have a technical team, they will appreciate the detailed signal breakdowns and schema validation tools.

17

How long before I see results?

Your first AI visibility score is available within minutes of signing up. Improvements to your actual visibility depend on the changes you implement — quick wins like adding schema markup can take effect within days, while content and authority building typically show measurable improvement within 4 to 8 weeks. AMPD tracks progress over time so you can see exactly what is moving the needle.
